Chemical Peel

Liquid-based chemical peels help your skin look fresher and younger. While acidic substances have been used for years to exfoliate skin deeply, we now have more effective and safer formulas and techniques in the form of chemical peels. Our peels work with the Ph in your skin to break down dead skin cells to exfoliate & brighten skin, kill bacteria & clean out pores. Chemical peels are available in various strengths depending on their ingredients and concentrations and can be customized based upon our client’s specific skin type & condition.

Jessner Chemical Peel

The Jessner Chemical Peel is a light to medium peel suitable for all skin types.  This peel helps dissolve dirt, sebum and debris in your pores that causes blackheads, enlarged pores and acne breakouts.

Glycolic Acid Peel

Glycolic acid is an Alpha Hydroxy acid peel (AHA) derived from sugar beets and sugar cane and is used in medium strength chemical peels.  This peel is most effective at exfoliation by removing the top most layers of dead and damaged skin and encourages skin cell regeneration. With antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties, glycolic acid peels effectively treat several skin conditions, including acne. They work by removing the surface layers of skin, including dead skin cells, and loosening and lifting excess oil from hair follicle roots. Glycolic acid may also suppress melanin production, which may explain its effectiveness in reducing dark spots.

Lactic Acid Peel

Lactic Acid is an Alpha Hydroxy acid peel (AHA) that helps encourage cell turnover and stimulates collagen formation while helping to smooth and soften the skin. Lactic Acid is an AHA naturally occurring in milk and is commonly used in mild chemical peels that help to even out your skin tone. These peels result in firmer, brighter, and smoother skin by removing the top layer, or epidermis, of your skin. In addition, they are effective in addressing skin conditions such as age spots, rough skin texture, melasma and hyperpigmentation issues.

Milder than other chemical peels, lactic acid peels can be a good choice if you have sensitive skin. This peel is also great for darker skin tones.
