Learn how can you more effectively remove unwanted hair and improve skin condition. Intense Pulsed Light latest technology has designed a safe and non-evasive way to treat facial and body vascular blemishes: Yag Laser.

What is Yag Laser?

The YAG laser is a kind of cosmetic laser commonly used for anti-aging skin treatments. It is considered “non-ablative,” meaning it penetrates the skin surface, and your skin tissue absorbs the energy.

Yag laser is also often used for laser hair removal because it has proven to be efficient at destroying the pigment in hair follicles.

The YAG laser can be pulsed – the laser pulsing is called “Q-switched – like the CO2 laser used for facial resurfacing. The pulsing blasts the unwanted or damaged tissue away. The pulsing also reduces potential for damage as it lessens the heat on the skin.

Some of these lasers (like the CoolTouch 1320) work by spraying the outer skin and sensitive nerve endings with a cooling liquid. As a result, it protects your outer skin and sensitive nerve endings with a cooling spray. Plus, accurate laser pulses stimulate the fibroblasts cells which produce the natural collagen that is the foundation of your skin. And, as the collagen layer thickens, skin elasticity and tone improve, and timelines fade into a youthful glow.

YAG laser skin resurfacing is an alternative to chemical peels that can help with wrinkles, skin tone and texture, though, it will not help with excess or sagging skin.
